How to Choose A Suitable Automated Stereoscopic Warehouse

How to Choose A Suitable Automated Stereoscopic Warehouse

The automated stereoscopic warehouse is a large-scale process equipment that can utilize the high-rise space of the warehouse, reduce land costs, realize fully automatic access to goods and make relevant records, and is simple to operate. The basic components include shelves, baskets or pallets, sky rails, ground rails, sliding lines, stackers, conveyor computer management systems, etc.

Sort by shelf height

1. Low-rise stereoscopic warehouse

The building height of low-rise stereoscopic warehouses is less than 5 meters, and they are generally transformed from old warehouses.

2. Mid-level stereoscopic warehouse

The building height of the three-story automated stereoscopic warehouse is between 5 meters and 15 meters. The warehouse does not have very high requirements for storage equipment, and the cost is relatively reasonable, so it is favored by many users.

3. High-rise stereoscopic warehouse

The height of high-rise buildings can reach more than 15 meters, which requires high storage machinery and equipment and makes construction difficult.

Classification according to shelf structure

1. Beam-type stereoscopic warehouse

Beam-type automatic warehouse shelves are similar in structure to ordinary vertical warehouse beam-type shelves. Heavy-duty stackers are generally used to store and retrieve goods. The carriers used are generally pallets or cargo boxes. The pallets are usually steel pallets and plastic pallets.

2. Intensive automated stereoscopic warehouse

It is a new type of warehousing model that can realize multi-layer cargo access and has a high degree of automation. It can quickly and accurately dispatch warehousing equipment according to the instructions issued by the host computer, and at the same time complete the automated management of inventory goods.

3. Box-type stereoscopic warehouse

It is composed of high-level shelves, lane stackers, conveyor lines, warehouse management systems and other equipment. You can choose to store different types of bin stackers such as single extension position/double extension position, single station/multi-station, etc., which are suitable for small volume and small load items.

Classification according to architectural form

1. Integrated stereoscopic warehouse

Also called comprehensive stereoscopicwarehouse. The high-rise shelves and the building are an integral part, and the storage facilities are made of reinforced concrete, making the high-rise shelves very stable.

2. Independent stereoscopicwarehouse:

The independent warehouse is opposite to the whole. The shelves are built separately and separated from the building.

Classification by type of access to goods

1. Sorting rack type

The sorting mechanism is the core part of the sorting rack type, which is divided into two ways: in-lane sorting and out-lane sorting. “Pick up before delivery” means that the picker picks up the required amount of goods from the cargo grid before bringing the picking table to the grid. “Pick-up” means that pallets or containers containing the required goods are transported from the stacker to the picking area, where the picker will pick out the required goods according to the requirements of the bill of lading, and then return the remaining goods to the original place.

2. Unit shelf

Unit shelf is a common form of warehouse. Goods are first placed in pallets or containers and then loaded into the storage space of the unit shelves.

3. Mobile shelf type

Composed of electric shelves, electric shelves can be walked on the track, and the shelves are closed and separated by the control device. When working, the shelf can be separated and can be operated in the roadway; When not working, the shelf can be closed, leaving only one working roadway to improve space utilization.

Classified according to degree of automation

1. Semi-automatic stereoscopic warehouse

Semi-automatic stereoscopicwarehouse refers to the storage and withdrawal process of goods, which is partly completed by manual operation and partly by automatic control.

2. Automated stereoscopic warehouse

Automated stereoscopicwarehouse refers to the automatic control of the storage and transportation process of goods.

Classification according to the role of warehouses in the logistics system

1. Production warehouse

A production warehouse refers to a warehouse set up in a factory to coordinate the unbalanced logistics between processes, workshops, purchased parts and self-made parts.

2. Circulation warehouse

A circulation warehouse is a service warehouse established by enterprises to adjust the supply and demand balance between production enterprises and users. This kind of warehouse has frequent incoming and outgoing goods and a large throughput, and generally has a direct contact with the sales department.

Classified by the closeness of the connection between automated warehouse and production

1. Independent warehouse

Also known as “offline” warehouse, it refers to an automated warehouse with relatively independent business processes and economics. This type of warehouse is generally large in scale and has large storage capacity. The warehouse system has its own computer management, monitoring, scheduling and control system.

2. Semi-compact warehouse

Semi-compact warehouse refers to the business process, warehouse management, goods entry and exit and economic benefits that have a certain relationship with other factories (or internal or superior units) but have no direct connection with other production systems.

3. Compact warehouse

Also known as “online” warehouse, compact warehouse refers to an automated warehouse that is directly connected to other departments or production systems in the factory and has a close relationship with each other.

Classification according to warehousing functions

1. Warehouse-type stereoscopicwarehouse

It adopts dense shelves according to the storage function. There are few types of goods, large quantities and long shelf life.

2. Picking type stereoscopicwarehouse

Picking type stereoscopicwarehouse is based on picking, with many types of goods and small delivery volume.

As a professional stacker crane rails supplier, Glory Rail has established cooperation with a number of logistics and storage solution providers and is committed to the integrated supply of raw materials for automated storage rail systems, including various conventional types of lifting rails, H-beam rails, and customized special shapes. track.

H-beam rail is one of the common forms of stacker crane rails. European standard H-beam is mostly used. The rail can be fixed on the ground and the top through the connecting plate. The stacker runs smoothly. We reserve various types of H-beam rails all year round. The factory has a laser cutting and welding production line, which can provide H-beam rail and connecting plate welding processing, which can reduce the workload and processing time of the project site, improve the efficiency of on-site operations, and reduce engineering costs.
