Our Journey

Built on Steel, Expanded into Rail Systems

Glory Steel Work was founded in 2005 as a steel manufacturer, focusing on hot-rolled and cold-drawn steel products. As our materials became widely used in crane rail applications, we expanded our capabilities beyond steel processing. This led to the development of Glory Rail, our dedicated rail system division, specializing in rails, fastening components, and related structural products. With continuous investment in manufacturing and engineering, Glory Steel Work has grown into an integrated supplier—supporting customers not only with steel materials, but with complete rail system solutions.

2005

Started with hot-rolled steel production

Steel Manufacturing Foundation

Glory Steel Work was established in Zibo with a 300 rolling mill line, focusing on flat bars and square bars. These products were later widely used in crane rail applications, laying the groundwork for entering the rail industry.

2009

First step into rail system products

Entry into Rail Fastening

A dedicated rail fastening factory was set up in Handan, producing clips and fishplates. Early products like WJK and WJKC clips were widely applied in crane rail systems, marking the initial stage of the Glory Rail business.

2012

From manufacturing to supply chain integration

Rail Supply & Processing Expansion

A rail inventory warehouse was established to support fast delivery. Partnerships were built with major steel mills, while cutting and drilling services were added. Annual rail supply exceeded 70,000 tons, enabling one-stop sourcing for customers.

2015

Upgrading to forging and rubber integration

Flexible Rail System Development

A forging production line was introduced to manufacture high-performance rail clips such as 9120 and 9216. At the same time, rubber components including rail pads and strips were developed, improving durability, wear resistance, and cost efficiency.

2020

Complete rail clip product portfolio

Standardized Product System

A full range of rail fastening systems was established, including weldable and bolted types. These products are widely used in crane rail projects and industrial rail systems.

2023

Supporting tunnel and infrastructure projects

Expansion into Rail Structures

A new facility was built in Dezhou to produce rail-related steel structures such as sleepers, cable supports, and walkways. Products are used in TBM and tunnel construction projects worldwide.

2024

Extending into crane system supply

Crane Component Integration

A crane parts factory was established in Xinxiang, adding wheels and wheel assemblies to the product range. This strengthens the company’s ability to support complete crane rail systems.

Introduction of Major Projects

Custom Rail System for Singapore Jurong Port RMC Project

Glory Steel Work engineered and delivered a full custom steel rail system for the Jurong Port Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC) terminal in Singapore. The 4,500-meter-long system was built using P50 rails and 1615 welded rail clamps installed on H-beam foundations. To meet the project’s stringent anti-corrosion standards, all track materials were fully coated, and all accessories underwent hot-dip galvanization. The solution featured 8.8-grade high-strength bolts for structural durability. In total, the project involved 211 tons of steel rails and approximately 20,000 sets of rail clamps, with a total value exceeding USD 420,000.

Automated Warehouse Rail System for Haitian Group

Glory Steel Work supplied a tailored indoor rail system for the smart warehouse facility of Haitian Group in Nanning, China. The system used P50 rails and 3120 bolt-type clamps, anchored onto concrete foundations with precision-engineered steel backing plates fixed by chemical bolts. Cement grouting was applied to finalize the pier foundation. As an indoor application, most components were electro-galvanized to ensure efficient corrosion protection without overengineering. The rail line spans 1,372 meters and includes 67.5 tons of rails and over 5,000 clamps, with a total project value of over USD 167,000.
